Let’s talk about the liquid facelift

The liquid facelift got its name from the gel-like substances in dermal fillers. The injected liquids can recontour your face without the need for surgery.

However, at YS Aesthetics, the liquid facelift isn’t a stand-alone treatment; it’s a combination of nonsurgical treatments that lift, tighten, and rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. We recommend a liquid facelift to address and correct a wide range of skin concerns, including:

Sagging skin
Hollowed under-eyes
Marionette lines
Nasolabial folds
Volume loss
Drooping jawline
Horizontal neck bands
Loss of cheek and temple volume
Tired or sunken appearance
Uneven facial contours

We thoroughly evaluate your skin, health history, and treatment goals to create a liquid facelift plan that’s right for you. Depending on your needs, your plan might involve one or more of the following procedures.

Dermal fillers

Fillers are among the most popular injectable treatments available, and the original liquid facelift players. They involve injecting gel-like substances (e.g. hyaluronic acid) to plump up features and restore youthful contours.

Sculptra® collagen stimulation

Sculptra is the first FDA-approved poly-L-lactic acid injectable treatment that stimulates natural collagen production to correct the most common signs of aging.

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators, such as Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®, temporarily paralyze and relax the facial muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles that appear when you make a facial expression).

Laser treatments

We offer two of the industry’s leading laser systems: Alma™ Harmony XL Pro and Tetra CO2 Coolpeel™.

Alma Harmony XL Pro uses advanced forms of intense pulsed light (IPL) to stimulate collagen production, target hyperpigmentation, and improve the overall texture of your skin.

Tetra CO2 Coolpeel is a fractional CO2 laser treatment we recommend for smoothing wrinkles and tightening skin.

Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling

During microneedling, we use a handheld device to create thousands of micro-injuries in your skin. Then, with tiny corridors into the deepest layers of your skin open, we follow the needles with powerful radiofrequency energy.

This combination of treatments maximizes collagen production and results in tighter, firmer, clearer skin.

The ideal candidate

Now that you know more about the procedures, let’s talk about what it takes to be a candidate.

We recommend liquid facelifts for patients who have mild-to-moderate signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation from sun damage, and volume loss. If you have excessively sagging skin or have developed jowls, you may need the next level of treatment.

It’s also important to note that liquid facelifts require maintenance. For example, the effects of dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 to 24 months, so you should expect to see us again for follow-up appointments as the effects wear off.

We also require our liquid facelift patients to be generally healthy, have no current skin infections, and have realistic expectations.
